RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

The "Bespoke Selection" Guarantee

We understand that a high-ticket zebra rug is a significant investment. To ensure you are fully satisfied with your choice and to minimize the need for returns, we are available for direct consultation via WhatsApp at +1 (402) 610 1733 or Email at Hidesocietyafrica@Gmail.com. We encourage you to reach out prior to purchase so we can provide additional photos or video details regarding the markings and character of your specific hide.

Natural Variation & Authenticity

Our zebra skins are authentic natural products from South Africa. Every hide is one-of-a-kind. Minor scarring, healed wounds, or variations in stripe patterns are signatures of a life in the wild and are hallmarks of authenticity; they are not considered defects. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge the unique, natural characteristics of the specimen.

Return Conditions

  • Returns Window: We accept return requests within 14 days of delivery.

  • Restocking Fee: Due to the specialized handling, administrative processing, and high insurance costs associated with these pieces, all returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

  • Condition: Items must be received in their original, unused, and pristine condition. Hide Society Africa reserves the right to refuse a return if the item shows signs of use or damage not reported upon delivery.

Return Logistics

The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for trackable, fully insured return shipping (UPS or FedEx recommended). We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit. Original shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

Damages & Shipping Issues

While we partner with premium carriers, accidents can happen.

  • Reporting Window: If your package arrives damaged, you must contact us at Hidesocietyafrica@Gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Requirements: You must provide photographic evidence of the exterior packaging and the product to facilitate our UPS insurance claim. Failure to report damage within this window may void our ability to offer a refund or replacement.

Failed Delivery Returns

If a high-value shipment is returned to Hide Society Africa due to a customer’s failure to provide an Adult Signature after multiple attempts, the actual "Return to Sender" fees charged by UPS will be deducted from any potential refund, in addition to the 15% restocking fee.
