Dispatch & Processing

At Hide Society Africa, we take immense pride in the precision of our logistics. To maintain absolute quality control and secure handling, orders are processed and dispatched from our facility in Pensacola, Florida twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  • Order Cut-Off Times:

    • Orders placed after Monday at 3:00 PM (EST) will be dispatched on Thursday.

    • Orders placed after Wednesday at 3:00 PM (EST) will be dispatched the following Tuesday.

  • Delivery Times: All domestic orders are shipped via UPS. Estimated delivery times range between 4 to 8 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on your location.

Shipping Rates

  • Contiguous United States:

    • Orders over $200.00 USD: Complimentary Insured Shipping.

    • Orders under $200.00 USD: $20.00 USD Flat Rate Shipping.

  • Non-Contiguous States (Alaska & Hawaii):

    • Shipping rates for Alaska and Hawaii are calculated at checkout and do not qualify for standard flat rate or complimentary shipping offers.

    • Hawaii Residents: Shipments may be subject to routine state agricultural inspections upon arrival, which may occasionally impact delivery timelines.

Tracking, Security & Signatures

  • Real-Time Tracking: Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor its progress.

  • Direct Signature Required: Due to the exceptional value of our rugs, all shipments are fully insured and require an Adult Signature upon delivery. We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes under any circumstances.

U.S. Domestic Inventory & Compliance

All Hide Society Africa specimens are currently held in our U.S. facility. They have been fully cleared by U.S. Customs and U.S. Fish & Wildlife (USFWS) under all proper legal frameworks and import licenses. Because our collection is already based in the U.S., our domestic clients face zero import risks, no international brokerage fees, and no CITES paperwork delays.

  • State Restrictions: Due to specific local wildlife legislation (California Penal Code Section 653o), we do not sell or ship our products to the state of California.

  • Local Compliance: It remains the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the possession or purchase of exotic wildlife products complies with their specific local or municipal ordinances.

Incorrect Addresses & Failed Deliveries

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate. If an order is returned to our facility due to an incorrect address or multiple failed delivery attempts by the carrier, the customer will be responsible for the actual "Return to Sender" costs charged by UPS, as well as any additional shipping fees required to resend the item.
